Visiting Facebook’s Headquarters (May 2011)

Last May 16, 2011, I was one of the members of a panel on a Facebook Live! program discussing the different things we can do in Facebook Groups.

Because of my involvement in the project called Philippine Funds for Little Kids (see Yellow Boat Project too), I was invited by the Communications team of Facebook to share my personal experience in using Facebook to raise funds for little kids who swim to school in Zamboanga City, Philippines (to learn more, visit our blog at http://yellowboat.tumblr.com/press).

It was an exciting experience; being probably the first Filipino to be invited to visit the Facebook HQ and also be part of a panel discussion on Facebook Live!.
